I just gotta say, looking for apartments in the city of Boston or In Massachusetts period is a joke. It's sad that now they are charging 3 grand for a

studio. A studio? What? Now, add first, last and security. That's insane! You at least need 1800 to start looking for apartments out here. No wonder everyone leaves Massachusetts because the rent is too high, too high! I'm thankful for the apt I got. Right in the middle of Boston but damnnnn! Massachusetts Get it together and step it up!

Either pay the rent and live where you want to work or live your life, or pay half the rent but then pay the equivalent to your savings in commuting cost plus the time factor for commuting, the latter of which must have a cost-factor associated with it, even if your time is worth minimum wage.

What I've learned is, if you want to live right downtown where the action is and where your job is located and you can walk to either within 15 minutes of your apartment, take the apartment and pay the rent they want because commuting is more expensive than anything cheaper you can rent which requires a car to get to where you need to be.
