I thought the Republican actually wanted the illegals to be counted in the last Census.

Some were concerned with what they wanted to do with the information, like if they were going to use it for deports.

@sstronaut The argument against counting them boils down to the fact that California has a large illegal immigrant population and counting them would give California more seats in Congress. That's all it is.
