So many Anonymous posting sites...lost

So many anonymous venting sites are just closing down or no longer working. Muttr has been in update mode for a year, the mod claims to still be working on getting up and running away. Somewheretowrite is gone and the site is no longer up. Smalltimeanon is working but you can't post anything or see anybody else's messages left behind, and Novni is closing down in December. Rip to so many sites

That's because there's a crackdown on citizens dissent.

If they make it illegal to form group assembly in a public place (which it is in many places already including the UK without prior approval and police presence) online is the only other place.

....so you look at the companies 'allowing' you to post even the most innocuous content via your governments 'approved' web browser.....

Just visit alternativeto.net if you wanna know the alternatives to any website, app/software, game, operating system, etc as I don't wanna waste your or my time. You may or may not know this, but Apple doesn't respect user privacy either ever since they implemented BLE, CSAM, and AI into all their newer devices. Yes I know that Apple paused CSAM but who knows when they'll finish and re-activate it.

Maintaining websites costs time and money, especially if they allow users to upload media content. With so much competition from alt-tech platforms, that also contributes to them shutting their platform down.
