Strange though it may seem, I attended a party years ago when I was younger. The hosts were playing mostly pop music which I detest. One of the other guests told me he had a more eclectic music collection at his apartment just down the hall, and asked me to accompany him to his place to retrieve some CDs.
As we're walking down the hallway, he suddenly starts crouching down. "You going to need to duck down," he says, "it gets really low through here." At this point he's crawling along on hands and knees, grabbing my ankle and warning me that I'll hit my head if I don't duck down. I kicked him a few times and told him to stand up before somebody comes out and sees him behaving like this. He kept insisting that I should duck down. Exasperated, I told him he can crawl around if he wants to, but that I was going back to the party.
When I returned, the hosts asked me what had become of the other guest. I explained to them what had happened, and they gave me a knowing smile. "He's on PCP," they told me.
Oh, yikes, that’s horrible and whoever did it should’ve been jailed. When I was in high school our cafeteria used to put out cups of fruit punch on a table for students to pick up with their lunches. It was a reckless thing to do, and one day someone spiked several of the cups with LSD. I only took a sip, but others drank full cups and ended up in the hospital. I was pretty sick, but recovered at home.
