why do people put milk in tea? you aren't supposed to do that in my opinion it's weird
you can add sugar or honey but that's it no milk or cream or anything of that nature it's gross to me and isn't how tea is meant to be

I think because some of the popular blends are strong African teas with high tannin levels. The milk takes the edge off somewhat. I don't like milk, it changes the whole flavour of tea.
