@SW-User Yeah I heard about that Impossible Wopper. I'd try it as long as it tasted good

@JaggedLittlePill i never tried plant based anything, just salad!! Lol i have kidney disease and my doc is always fussing at me about eating red meat!! Screw it.....im a meat eater!!
SW-User
@SpaceJesus my nephew loves it and he is one picky eater!! 😂
@SW-User listen here lady! ...you better listen to your doctor! 😏
But i would have a hard time without meat. 😏
SW-User
@JaggedLittlePill exactly....you can only eat so much fish, chicken and such!! I just love a burger or steak. My bipolar meds caused my kidney disease.
@SW-User Be goddamn careful with that stuff. It almost killed me. Went toxic in my system and they had to do dialysis to get it out. Like it was 4.something or other in my body. My kidneys went into failure and my BP bottomed out. I don't want to see this happen to anyone else

@SpaceJesus my doctor was always having me do bloodwork, but, he obviously wasnt reading the numbers properly. I have a new psych doc now and im totally off of it now. I take Depakote at the moment, but, shes gonna wean me off it soon and put me on lamictal.
SW-User
@SpaceJesus im so very sorry you endured all that my friend!! 🤗 i hope youre on something else now.
@SW-User Yes they definitely should have read the numbers properly, like any good doc would. I take Depakote as well. How often do you get your levels checked with this new doc? Bad thing about Depakote is that the side effects can harm your liver. That is insane about your old doctor tho. Truly disgraceful to his profession
@SpaceJesus i have regular blood work now and my new doc is on top of everything. I just found out my old doc retired....he needed to. But, the depakote is causing weight gain and my family doc isnt happy about that. So, the lamictal is the next step.

@SpaceJesus people like us need to stick together and support one another....
@SW-User Im happy things are going as smoothly as they can with your new doctor. You gained some with Depakote? Yeah it is definitely time to change over to a weight neutral or negative. I hope the Iamictal does better for you. And you are right bout that.
SW-User
@SpaceJesus thank you my friend....ill keep you updated with the med issues. 😀
