I Want to Thank Our Veterans

There's not much enjoyment on this day, no picnic here.. I just got back from repaying my respects to the men and women that gave the ultimate sacrifice..... I was lucky to come back.. 59,000 lost in my war, but I didn't forget..

P.S. Funny SW doesn't even have a group for Memorial Day.....

Its a day of remembering for the sacrifice for our country. Our Remembrance day here in Australia is November the 11th at the 11th hour we stop and have a mintue silence as a mark of respect .
Your service to your country is one of admiration and sacrifice ,and bravery

@Sparklesatnite I believe that date commemorates the end of WWI, at 11 AM on the 11 th day of the 11th month!
