I read from one account by a student that an officer yelled to them, "If you need help, yell." One student yelled out help, and the gunman heard and went in and shot the kid before the cop went in after him. As soon as I read that, I started having doubts about those police. Like, hello, these kids aren't out of danger yet, why are you leading a murderer to them?!
@bijouxbroussard Yes...that was a red flag for me too. They say they have 6 officers for the school and that they had drills it doesn't seem like they did.

The mayor is a bigot who speaks about immigrants all the time. He did so on Fox news last night. The kid wasnt even an immigrant. The police of the town harrass the residents and ask them for their papers all the time ( some reports from people who live there say)
Bias is a real thing and it is a factor in how police handle minorities.
