Herons again
The brass nerve of herons is breath-taking. We are sitting in our end of garden cabin sipping our tea and wondering if the pond still has a layer of ice on it - and a damn heron comes scudding down, not three feet away from us, to check out the same thing. I'm incensed. Well I soon scared it off, but it needs a lesson about trespassing. Absolute cheek. Don't know what's happened to the crows that used to guard us
