A drop of the hard stuff

The Lord and Master and myself thought we'd better drink the bottle of damson gin our neighbours gave us in exchange for rather a lot of damsons. It's not our favourite, though quite passable for a change. We wouldn't have tried it at all if there'd been a greater selection of whiskey available in the cupboard. As the man pointed out, they don't put much in these bottles, do they?
