I Have Something to Say

I could find only one pair of reading glasses out of a pack of 15 that I'd ordered two weeks earlier. I leave them in the bathroom, hooked over lampshades, on any shelf or table with space, on bedside tables, in the car, on the arm of the sofa, beside the microwave. So I hunted. I found one more pair, so I stormed around in a temper and got my lord and master on the job. He managed to get the number up to five, which was unsatisfactory. I was annoyed for days.

Quite by chance I was scrolling through past purchases and came across my order for specs. Five pairs for £15.

What a twit I am

Interesting. I have a theory about pens. Houses absorb pens. If you buy 4 pens, the house can easily absorb them in a few days or a week. You have to supersaturate the house. 15-20 pens. The house can absorb most of them but not all - so you will always have a few available for a while.

Maybe reading glasses are the same.
