I Have Something to Say

Rape, incest, seduction, impregnation, abduction 😞

I feel lucky because i was born in this modern age. If i was born in the ancient times those thing might happened to me at any time casually. Seriously i feel like ancient woman have no value at all, even the mightiest woman like their Goddess was raped. Here i have the list of some sexual assault in the mythological era on some legends :

1. Goddess Hera the Queen of Olympus. She was raped by Zeus, she feel ashamed for that so she accept Zeus marriage proposal. What's more? Hera was Zeus sister 😑😑

2. Goddess Demeter was raped by Zeus and Poseidon. And yes you guess it right, Demeter was Zeus and Poseidon sister

3. Pershepone, the daughter of Demeter from Zeus was raped and abducted by Hades. And again.. Hades was Persephone uncle 🤦🏻

4. Europa seduced and abducted by Zeus in the form of a bull (bestiality 😱😱😱)

5. Leda also raped by Zeus in the form of a swan (bestiality again 🤦🏻)

6. Helen of Troy (daughter of Zeus from Leda) was raped and abducted by Theseus

7. Medusa (yes, THAT medusa) was raped by the mighty Poseidon

Well that's it for now. Crazy right? I mean.. if the ancient people can made up a story like like i can instantly figure out how the society back then under valued a woman.

If i was live in the ancient times i seriously feel like someone can rape and abduct me anytime they want like it was not a big deal 😢

But lucky for us modern woman, now everything has change and we can life more peacefully

Check out Inana (also known as Ishtar) and Ereshkigal from Summerian mythology. No one fucked with them.
@Straylight [c=#359E00]okay i will[/c]

@YukikoAmagi Well, it also depends who you ask. In the original summerian version of one myth, Ereshkigal forces Nergal to marry her, in the more common Babylonian version, Nergal tries to kill Ereshkigal and only relents when she swears to marry him.
@Straylight [c=#359E00]the one that i found on Wiki page is from Mesopotamian version[/c]

@YukikoAmagi Babylon and Summeria are both Mesopotamian. If Ereshkigal demands Nergal marry her, its Summerian. If it's the other way around, its Babylonian.
@Straylight 👍️
