I Have Something to Say

My emotions are feeling quite pummeled this afternoon. We have assholes for neighbours. People who think it's great fun to ride up and down our peaceful street with dirt bikes destroying the quiet. We've tried fighting their assholic behaviour but we get zero help or understanding from any quarter where we live. I honestly do not know what else to do. How do you make someone understand that their behaviour is not only inconsiderate but criminal when not even the cops or the council will help you?😶

@Whitenight - to be blunt it is people like you who turn a blind eye to social ills in the neighbourhood that allow neighbourhoods to become shit holes. It's the little stuff that accumulates and eventually becomes big stuff. So I turn a blind eye to this, then I guess I must turn a blind eye to the drug den and the nearby squat/shooting gallery because they are also just enjoying their own thing. And then I guess I must turn a blind eye to the terrorist wannabe who's planning a nice little bombing or borrowing the truck from work to play jihad skittles. And what about my "thing?" What if I want to play opera at top volume at 3am because its the only time I can enjoy it? Or maybe I can let my dog pack run free on the street so they can shit on the neighbours' lawn and then I don't have to clean up after them - bugger the kids walking to their friends or the bicyclists enjoying an afternoon ride, I mean they can just run or pedal faster can't they?
We have by-laws for a reason. They enable us to live with each other with a modicum of civility.
