I think it depends on the content of the message and the motive involved. If a guy instantly wants to start with a sex chat, big turn off. You might be surprised how many dick pics, propositions, and nasty suggestions females get.

I never start like that and when it comes to girls guys and other girls would respond to them no matter if they say something stupid or not.
