Sterling. The thing is, the word "love" didn't lose its meaning. At least, not to everyone. Most of the time, we just hear it from those who don't mean it at all.
A lot of people who're struggling in their lives think they're depressed or suffering depression. They put up anywhere and they will tell you about it. We just don't care anymore, because we know that they're just sad about some stupid things and aren't getting what they want.
