@Bushranger I was one of only three people in my year studying physics at uni. who had a calculator in the mid seventies. A Sinclair Scientific that I assembled myself. Sold it recently for about 10 USD.
@Bushranger It wasn't even in working order. I was happy just to see that it wouldn't end up in landfill. I recently sold a TI programmable graphing scientific calculator that was less than ten years old and in perfect condition for about the same price so I suppose the 'antique' did attract a bit of a premium!
