I Have Random Thoughts
Sometimes it's hard to really step back and appreciate the unprecedented world we currently live in.
Of course things change over time. But the rate of that change is insane now.
I think nearly 500 years passed between the invention of optical glass and the printing press. Both considered landmark inventions that changed both science and society forever.
But my grandfather was born into a world of horse and buggy. There was *one* car in the entire county and people would come out of their shops and homes just to see it drive by.
Yet he lived to see the invention of the airplane to the moon landing to a robot on Mars.
Not to mention the internet.
That absolutely blows my mind to think about.
