I had zero idea of that back story. It's interesting, I am fascinated with the idea of being positive in the face of devastation, as if it's a reaction or protest to the adversity.
Why do some do that? Nothing to lose? Too predictable to be a downer?
I've always defined faith as "to hope when there's no real reason to hope".
Boy, do we all need that sometimes.
