We've been able to walk to Europe for quite some time; France has declared all its colonies as part of France for several centuries. Time was, we could just head down to Louisiana, but that's over with now. All that's changed now is that Canada decided it was unfair to let President Trump have a monopoly on the North American whiny solipsistic tantrum reserve, and that THEY wanted a turn.

Which I suppose is only fair, but still.
