A new SW user messaged me three hours

And he's already been suspended. This is a reoccurring theme I'm seeing. New users who come here and hours later, they're gone. I know we've all noticed it and have voiced it before but it just feels so weird. Is this sort of thing happening on other sites? What is the point? Are they AI bots? Alt accounts? Scammers? What is happening?

another possibility is previously banned members trying to worm their way back in.

Although who knows how likely that is because in recent years, it takes a lot to get banned. They barely enforce the rules now.

I kind of doubt it is bots because sites wnt traffic, which is why people get way with murd3r on here.

Pretty frequent the other way around, too, new female accounts all of which just happen to good looking, almost all fake

My best guess would be they are scammers. The conversations always start the same way.
