ENT update!!!

I had my vestibular testing a few days ago and I had results! Today was my follow up appointment with thr ENT doctor to go over them. She didn't have any definitive answers😔 Mostly because she's not sire what causes it. But, I might have vestibular neuritis. Which means inflammation in the vestibular nerve, in both of my ears. Vestibular therapy should help. I might have to see a neurologist. I do get headaches on and off with my vertigo episodes. So a neurologist might be helpful for that. I'm glad I got some answers and possible solutions. Im just glad to know I'm not crazy😊

Do you have any dizziness or do you feel insecure on your legs because of lack of balance? How is it at night or in a dark environment?

Did you ever have a sudden hearing loss that came back after a while?

The reason I am asking all those questions is that you may have what is called a vestibular schwannoma (or acoustic neuroma). It is a benign tumor that surrounds the vestibular nerve and impairs your balance. They are usually detected through a MRI after a unilateral hearing loss or balance problems.

@Stephie My hearing is normal. I got tested for that too. It's more like disequilibrium. My vertigo isn't spinning, everything leans to the left
