@Idontbelonghere it enrages me so bad. I'm very protective with myself so for them to try this hard to convince me that it's safe to form an emotional connection with them, and watch me slowly put that wall down.
Mind you, i'm putting this wall down slowly, they have time to back out before i get attached in any way, but they'll continue, convincing you it's okay. And once i'm completely uncovered, that's when i'm hit with the constant bullshit. One thing after another.
Some people i've been with have done it deliberately, others were sure this is what they wanted, but then didn't realize how much effort it'd be and freaked out.
