that really needs to be a personal decision based on what you like and dont like to see, read, or discuss. there are enough topics and people to pick both the ones you WANT and the ones you dont want.

You would be much better to discover that for yourself. For instance, I'm a pretty nice person, but I've been blocked. There are people I have blocked for my own reasons, but they may not be good reasons in your eyes. I tend to pre-emptively block people with disgusting user names. But disgusting to me, may be amusing, to you.

Only you can answer that one. Everyone has their own set of friends, unless they are total a-holes, and then they probably don't even have a friend here much less in real life.
