If he is funny and smart I may never realise he is severely depressed or suicidal. I will probably date him if I like him. But eventually this will be a bumpy road when his severe depression begins to show. If I like him enough I might stick it out until I can't no more.

I think that a relationship would be second on the list to finding help and guidance for his condition really. Anybody who is suffering from such severe depression should be seeking to find the root of their problems rather than masking it with a relationship thats doomed to fail. After all, In my opinion it is impossible for someone to fall in love with you until you love who you are...

No, because worst case scenario, he does kill himself. Then what? What about me? I can't put myself in a situation like that. I don't expect people to do that for me either.

No, I have adrenal problems and am very sensitive to that stuff...I came from a family with many members who are depressed, don't need any more of it.
