Do you think a sixteen year old girl should know how to change a flat tire on a car?
If your sixteen year old daughter was alone in her car and would get a flat tire, would she know how to change it?

My daughters learned to drive in the early 90's, and yes, I taught both how to, but the problem is that most lug nuts are put on with an air impact driver, making it nearly impossible to remove with a tire iron (I actually bent a "T" bar once trying to remove lugnuts). Today, I'd want them to call me, so I could go and remove the lugs with my cordless impact driver, but she would be right there helping me...my 16 year old should not be THAT far from my house in the first place...JS
