I Have a Question

Do you think it's true that most people want to use you or take advantage of you in stead of support you or do the right thing? It does seem like a lot of people simply want to get what they can from the people around them and don't care that much about how their treatment affects them. Unfortunately it is human nature to only be concerned about how everything affects yourself. I just wondered what other people's experiences were.

I've found that while there are those who are simply in survivor mode on every level, they don't compare to the number of those who are compassionate and not only thinking of their own agendas. I think the selfish ones can stand out more from time to time because of the huge impact they leave on us...it's like our minds really want us to remember that these self-driven individuals exist in our lives so we can see them for what they are in an effort to protect our heart and minds from their manipulation.
