I Have a Question

Does anybody else not really self identify as anything? I don't mean in the sense of thinking of yourself as "outside the box" or unique. You can still think of yourself that way while feeling like you belong to certain groups. But I mean just really anything at all. For example I can't complete the phrase "As a...BLANK" I don't know what I'd put in the blank. I mean I guess I would say "as a guy" but that's really the extent of it.

I identify with so many things and groups that the phrase, "As a... " would have to be "It's Complicated".
My life registers in the Jack of All Trades" column.

I understand. I feel bad for people who identify as pne thing only. Variety, flexibility, adaptability, are what make life so interesting.

Identity Politics is big right now. People are more open about who they are than ever before.
