Technology has in fact superceded humanity.
For everything technology gives us it also takes something away. Technology is also a tool to take us away from nature or even picking up a real book. Why? When we are immersed in nature it takes away the desire or urge to work.
Those in power no this secret. Which brings to mind this statement during a board meeting.
'We will build them cities and they will have the freedom to leave work and go home but return to work for us every morning for the rest of their lives. Yet, they will truly never own anything. The bank will.'
