Me, for example, I always fall in love what is in my head, and I want it desperately to become true, but most of the time it is a disappointment in the end..

I think it can be both but I fall for what the person shows me of themselves and how they make me feel but looks can be part of the equation too...I believe i am a realist so I dont get in a fantasy mode until they start showing things about themselves that I'm starting not to like/love because we want to continue to like/ love them so we become blind to the negative things we dont like...I however believe you fall in love with how a person makes you feel and that includes many things...personality ,what you have in common, and really just who they are and how you react and interact with each other like a connection ,chemistry, but that could also include the vision too....You can fall in love early on(love at first sight) but its not wise you can have love for them but with restraint till dont allow yourself to fully fall till you know them better to see if the love your feeling in is fact real and how deep it is,that takes time to know and flourish and grow. into "true" love. The problem with this is people generally put their best foot forward in the beginning and many also lie trying to "get" you, as they can have ulterior motives. I have learned the hard way you have to hold yourself back till you give it enough time to see if they are who you think they are and also you'll discover more about a person the more time you take to get to know them. Then you will know if who they showed in the beginning was in fact who they really are. I do think you can love unconditionally from day one ...Loving unconditionally is a personal choice its they way a person loves. I dont believe love becomes unconditional, I think its the way in which a person chooses to love someone.
