Well, absolutely I am. I think everyone is nicer when the acidic/toxic folk are not around us.

I must admit I have an automated, highly sensitive hot button that immediately engages when around a-holes, the willfully ignorant and toxic people.

Other than that, I'm super easy to get along with and quite nice.

I think it’s easier to be nice when around well balanced, non toxic people. While I try to be nice to everyone, I refuse to allow total strangers on the internet take cheap shots at me, and me not react some kind of way. Usually I just block them out of my site and sometimes giving them a few choice words on the way out. I don’t stand there offline and allow people to take digs at me so why should I online? Yes, I’m a blocker, not one of those people that somehow think NEVER blocking is some kind of virtue. 🥴

Yes. I lean into toxic people more with encouragement but eventually I will withdraw from interacting which can be received as less kind.

Nicer might not be the best word but definitlely more relaxed and not on edge.
