To women: Have you been through perimenopause? What were the symptoms you experienced?

Every woman goes through. Some have lots of symptoms and others have few symptoms or none at all. She probably didn’t have any symptoms.

Going through it now. I'm going to be 49 in a few weeks. I've had very unusual periods, nothing for months and then a really heavy one that's left me in a lot of pain. Hot flushes are pretty unpleasant, they just come from nowhere, a heat that is like it comes from inside your body. I'm also very forgetful and can't organize my thoughts to say what I want to say easily. I've never had that problem. My skin and hair feels dry too. I also have dry eyes and developed uevitis, not sure if that could be related.
