Would we have a stronger society if,

At the age of 10-15 we exile our children to the wild and those who survive come back as men/women and are granted citizenship?

I feel like that's where we went wrong in the first place

@EldritchFox i believe alot of people coddle thier children leading to entitlement and lack of motivation to obtain necessary skills.

If we were forced to live off the land at a young age, would you even value money when you dont require it as much?

@GuyWithOpinions yeah I understand the concept but I think the most entitled generations weren't coddled.
Kinda like the Hunger Games? That didn't work out well...
@GuyWithOpinions that didn't work out well in the long run either 😅

@NerdyPotato well it could be geared more toward a pioneer mindset rather than breeding soldiers..

@NerdyPotato sparta also fell because they relied heavily on slavery and were resistant to change in technology and politics. Not because thier citizens were weak.
