Has anyone had to cancel a trip away where a natural disaster has happened a week before going away?
Like flooding,earthquakes etc

Yes. We were planning to travel to Georgia for a wedding, and then Hurricane Harvey hit us with awful flooding. Had to cancel the trip and work on the recovery.
