It was weird how sudden it was. Suddenly the references I made and the things I cared about are old-fashioned.
I work in IT, and we have a 20 year old tech who works with us. I can always tell when I say something old fashioned because I see him immediately grab his phone and look up whatever it is I referenced.
I felt ancient when I mentioned "Ross and Rachel" and he looked at me and said "Friends...right?" Like I would say to an old person..."Lawrence Welk...right?" 🤦♂
