How tough is it really to work in a dry cleaners?

I dropped off some of my kilts and dance dresses to a dry cleaner a few days ago. I even paid for it then and got a ticket for when I return. I came back yesterday and handed them the ticket and they came back with the most old fashioned suit I ever...

Working there must really suck, especially in Summer, and yet they do it every day all year round.
I hope their home has a pool and an ocean view at least to make up for it.
