I am a FORMER smoker. I quit when I was 36 years old. I used to chain smoke...those lite cigarettes...like Eves, and then Carlton 100's. BUT it was bad...3 packs a day. I discovered that the hardest part of quitting smoking is NOT the physical addiction. The hardest thing is breaking the HABIT of putting a cigarette into your mouth at certain times all day long. You get so accustomed to it that STOPPING becomes very, very difficult.
I managed it with "substitution". Every time I wanted a cigarette, I put a Breath Savers sugar free breath mint into my mouth.
