Have you ever longed for someone even though they hurt you?

The space to grieve someone is so filled with the happy times, I hate it.

Think many of us have been there . It's hard to forget that pain ...but if you can turn that pain into growing yourself then it can be a positive thing . There is so much we can learn about ourselves and others when we go through pain and hurt ....First and foremost value yourself....
We have a tendency to romantize relationships...we aren't seeing this person for who they really are ...it takes time to process but it's up to us to be proactive in healing ourselves...the best part of this is we get to choose the story we tell ourselves

@pituitarypendulum why do we devalue ourselves for others?

@ScreamingFox It's the idea of them that we pine for, not the actual person...
@ScreamingFox we don't have to ...we can value ourselves more by putting the same effort and energy into ourselves as we put in others ...that's not being selfish...it's self preservation..... it's easy to get caught up in this mindset of focusing on the hurt and pain rather than focusing on what the pain is trying to teach us ...there's nothing wrong with wanting to feel loved and wanting to be treated well .... you attract what you are willing to tolerate
