I developed a fear of packed, enclosed places, such as trains and buses. I've always hated confined spaces so I accepted being claustrophobic a long time ago but this overwhelming feeling of needing my own space when places got crowded started about 5 or 6 years ago.
It's led to me getting off a train in the middle of nowhere and leaving the Natural History Museum after about half an hour and I won't even get on a train if I see people standing.

@mossyboots I've always hated the thought of being locked in a confined space but never felt claustrophobic on trains etc until 2019ish, I was on my way to Swansea for football and the train was rammed, more were getting on a Pontypool so I got off, no idea how I got off because it was so packed but I was suddenly on my own on the platform, mates ringing me to ask what was going on.It was just a relief to be off the train. I nearly did similar on a bus between Warminster and Bath but managed to stay calm.
The fear of lifts is understandable and I can imagine the feeling of a car wash. Fingers crossed I never need a CT scan!

@RodneyTrotter1 CT scans aren't that bad - it's having an MRI. I kept glancing down at my feet to see the outside but was only in fifteen minutes. The women spoke to me through the headphones and so blocked out a lot of the noise.

I have a fear of needles. Not for a vaccine type injection but rather any needle that's put into a vein, like for drawing blood or for IV's. I don't know why, but they really hurt me a lot.
I also do not like crowds of people in enclosed spaces. I have no problem with crowded elevators and such, but I have a problem with crowds like on an flight. I also don't like flying.

@IM5688 I'm not afraid of needles, thankfully. But I hate it when they cannot find a vein and keep tapping and prodding around. I ended very bruised once when the nurse kept moving the needle around under the skin one time.
