Are you an optimist or pessimist?

I suppose I would describe a glass as “half full” if I’m filling the cup, and “half empty” if I’m draining the cup.
But really, I just see it as half a cup.
But I don’t see it as a litmus test for optimism or pessimism.

I can be both, but overall I identify as a dreamer, and I'm not the only one ....:)

Well, I'll give you an answer, but I don't suppose it will do any good.

The optimist sees a glass that’s half full.
The pessimist sees a glass that’s half empty.
An engineer sees a glass that’s twice as big as it needs to be!
