What unwanted gifts have you recieved?

Mine was a bread maker from a neighbour who didn't want it any more. I buy my bread and have never had the urge to make it myself but I gave it a try. The bread was unevenly cooked and it was such a small sized loaf. In the end I gave it to my mother in law and she loved it.
Everything she made turned out great so I guess in the right hands ...

I had one in my dorms and used it once a week until it broke. I was quite popular because it was always more than I could eat before I it grew mold.

As a side note, it was always most scary when the bread I made grew mold in just a few days while commercial bread would last a week and more. Don't want to know what stuff they add to do that.

@RosaMarie I never found it kept well either. Much prefer the bread from the bakers.

@RosaMarie preservatives aren't that bad as long as they are a small part of your diet... They stop so much food being thrown out...
