What’s a food you have tried that was most out of your comfort zone?

Mine was probably horse, being American it’s taboo here but not in other parts of the world. Yes, I liked it.

So chewy it was like trying to eat a rubber tire.

@BizSuitStacy Squid. 😁 VERY similar. THIS is octopus.

@4meAndyou yum...I love calamari. Octopus is good too.

@BizSuitStacy FRIED calamari is usually pretty good. MOST people who don't know what it is love it...till they are told what is underneath the friend coating! 🤣🤣🤣

I have had octopus, also. It was at Anita Chue's Chinese restaurant in Boston, the first time. I was busy embarrassing my Thai friends by being squeamish...I refused to even try it until there was only ONE piece left...and the way it was prepared was absolutely delicious. SO tender!

I also had raw octopus as part of a sushi boat...and the chunk was thick and HUGE. The only reason I ate it was because my former daughter-in-law was freaking. I wanted SO much to gross her out...🤣🤣🤣
@4meAndyou I have to admit...I've eaten certain things just because I know it will gross people out.

Yes, I've always liked calamari, EXCEPT when it's rubbery, which sometimes happens. ☹

@4meAndyou I did try squid once at a fancy buffet, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
