Out of all the bills you pay, which one do you dislike the most?

@peterlee Community charge? That was the proper name of the so-called "poll tax".

I think you mean Council Tax, but I agree we see less and less service for more and more money because all town and county councils are being relentlessly squeezed from all sides; yet expected to deliver more and more for less and less.

@ArishMell But not sure l£30 a month for a village bowling green, and gates for the village entrance. I’d rather give directly to the food bank. Incidentally the village council, self appointed, opposed any social housing.

@peterlee The bowling green is fine if a genuinely public facility. If for a club, that club should pay for it. Parish councils don't appoint themselves but depend on residents putting themselves forwards for it.
