Are you allowed to get upset or show irritation under these circumstances?

Scenario: your partner comes home from work, they greet you at the door with a kiss, suggest they cook you dinner, run you a bath, walk the dog.

When you come downstairs to make yourself a cuppa tea, you notice the wipe they used to wipe the dogs ass (with p**p on it) they leave on the side board in the hallway.

This isn't the first time and it's something you've mentioned and reminded them about a few times.

Now it's irked you and your whole mood changes.

If it happened the one time and you told him about it fine.
But if it happens again, then there's a problem.

@Lilymoon it's a repeated thing. This is just an example of one type of thing.
It could be the same with the tea towel. It should be placed on the oven handle something he started but he will throw it somewhere then can't find it.
So will get a new one only to find the old one. And so then there's one slung across the counter and the other in the oven.

If I say he's absent minded apparently I'm dissing him.
