Removing junk food from SNAP isn’t cruel, it’s remaining true to the program’s original purpose. Thoughts?

i agree! i was so mad the other day. i was in line at walmart. a man who doesn't speak English was trying to use his food stamp card. in his cart, he had paid for a case of beer.

Technically alcohol isn't allowed
They can have mixed items and ONLY the SNAP approved gets paid by the card ... but I've also seen cards exchanged for cash etc
