We switched to pure white bia cordon bleu 30+ years ago and since it easily blends with so many other white tableware makers it's super easy to replace or add anything.
Meanwhile, I have a case of fine Wedgewood fancy stuff in the basement ready to give to anyone in the family or friends who wants it.
What I like about the wedgewood is that I bought from the factory at a super discount in the UK so it's not a serious treasure for me; more like an easily breakable nuisance with near impossible to replace pieces.
