Are you a likeable person?

I am not. I kinda understand, I know I'm different. I really don't care except it always bites me at work. I don't understand why. I am on time, don't call out, do my job efficiently and I'm a team player. Nobody ever tells me what I'm doing wrong, I just feel retaliated against. My bosses will suddenly treat me like I have the plague. My hours get cut. It's an overall feeling of not belonging. Bordering on rudeness directed at me. I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. But I guess I have to find a different job now.

Better be unliked than to be liked for the wrong reasons. But let's say, being liked and being likeable isn't the same thing.

It sucks to be misunderstood at the workplace though. It's not you they're rejecting I believe, is this part in themselves that is reminding them that freedom of the spirit which you carry. They're feeling perhaps some strange responsibility towards something, that they cannot understand. Or some sort of uneasiness. It could be that through your presence they're called to some kind of initiation. And it feels out of space, because ehm, it might be!

As for me, I can be all of the above 😏 Us shapeshifters 😜...

@being yeah I know it's not anything I'm outwardly doing because I bust my butt and I'm good at what I do. I can make peace with not being liked, but when I start getting less hours and my lunch breaks are suddenly always forgotten, ect, it affects me more than is appropriate that they don't like me.

I guess I just get tired of bouncing around after being pushed out.

I am ready for connection and appreciation. Harmony and teamwork.

I am grateful for who I am, and I know that it makes people uncomfortable, and there's nothing I would change about myself to be liked. But it's not fair to keep being cast out because I don't pass the popularity contest.

@ScreamingFox you've outgrown the environment perhaps and it's time to move to a workplace where teamwork is available... I'm so sorry. I know it's their loss...
