A cover letter is basically a 'sum up' of your resumé : the highlights/the draw card, to make them wanna look at your CV.
Its always one page max - hence uts name.
Make sure you tailor it and your whole application to the position youre going for. Time is precious and no boss wants to waste time on superfluous stuff.
And as the others said, maybe input all relevant info into chat gpt and see what it comes up with.
You can always give it the human touch after.
