If you were manipulated to be obsessed/dependent on someone by that someone to the point where you don't think you were manipulated,

and your obsessive tendencies continued even after they got bored and tossed you away, would stalking their social media accounts be justified or no?

I mean who cares about justifying it.

Is it healthy? No. But you can forgive yourself for chasing after your abuser and having difficulties letting go its the most human response in the world.

It's like an addiction. Yeah you need to get clean but you also can't hate on yourself for relapses cause it'll just make you feel worse and more likely to fall into routinized behaviour.
