Have you witnessed a lot of automotive accidents?

It happens to me once every few months, sometimes more frequently. Yesterday I heard it behind me and looked in my mirror just in time to see a motorcycle sliding across the shoulder and the guy popped up in the air and landed so hard he bounced and rolled.

I'm always the first person to run out and check on the people. I never mind helping but I usually roll out before the ambulance and police get there because that's when it gets weird.

Thank the gods he was wearing his helmet and leather riding gear or he'd of been shredded. His boot was literally shredded ☹

It's been this way since I was little. My mom would always stop. The first one I remember is seeing a woman jump out of a moving van. It looked like a pile of laundry flew out the door and exploded all over the road. That one messed me up.

I am kinda desensitized by it now but I still find it really strange I'm often looking at it as it happens.

Oddly, no, and I’ve driven (by my calculations) around a million miles in my life.

Most of it was in the rural areas and non-urban highways. And for quite a few years I drove - just drove - to avoid going mad. Limited escape.

I have unconsciously avoided several mass collisions, like a horrendous one in Atlanta, involving dozens and dozens of cars and trucks and motorcycles. I missed it by less than five minutes.

I had one serious wreck, when I was forced off the road by a drunk driver. The car rolled three times, and I had to crawl out a window to get out, but I didn’t need a bandaid. Incredible luck.
