Do your dreams come true and freak you out?

My husband often dreams of things and believes in superstitions. I’m sorry, but sometimes I just don’t have time for that. I'm not superstious. It’s only a dream. If you’re worried about bad things coming true then do something good instead and try not to dwell on thoughts like break ins, getting cheated on or run over. Maybe it’s better to stay positive and just walk a little faster.

FYI: Death is different.

Mmhmm.

I get deja vu quite often and then it dawns on me that I dreamed a snippet of the moment I was in.

The last time it happened I depersonalized so hard that I ended up giving myself a panic attack because I could wrap my head around certain things that were a dream and reality. It messed with me big time. Only time it did though.

@PerfectionOfTheHeart the nice ones are good when they come true.

Yes. I can remember 4 dreams/visions that came true. They served as warnings I could sense ahead of time. Before them I was clueless. That's why I don't downplay my dreams, especially if they are oddly symbolic and vivid. I believe they may be whispers from the universe and sometimes a place for souls to meet.

That said, most of my dreams are simply reflections of the day: random thoughts, desires and fears. Or just the mind getting a little rest.

I have had dreams that have come true. I think we have all had Deja vu feelings in our day, but that doesn’t mean all dreams are going to come true. I wouldn’t say I am necessarily superstitious. Except when watching sports 😄

Maybe get him a book on the psychology of dreams, because it’s a very strange coincidence any time a dream “comes true”. That’s not how dreams work, that’s not what they’re for. They’re symbolic messages from your subconscious. Dreams are not supposed to be literal, and they’re definitely not supposed to literally tell you your future.

I have had this happen before, I don't know if it's deja vu but I swear I've dreamed some things that happened in my life.

Not one of my dreams has ever come true. You`re still in Australia. 😬
@Degbeme Agreed!

Thank God they don't.
Be difficult to explain to my male friends why their wives were at my house in French maid outfits 😏

I had a dream that someone I loved had died; It was so powerful I googled it and it was true
Sometimes, but I try to take it in stride.

@GohantheThird that's how it should be.

Yeah but I'm use to it.

I only usually remember the impression my dreams leave and not really what actually happens in them. 🤔

If some of my dreams came true then I’d be happy or dead one of the other. lol 😂
They rarely do, neither the bad nor the good ones.

@NerdyPotato yes, same here.
